Job Description

The role combines traditional administrative duties with responsibilities including the support of projects, reviews and working groups to further the University's strategic vision and service provision in External Relations.

Working closely with the Executive Officer, Director and wider Senior Leadership Team within External Relations, you will support the smooth running of a busy department. You will exercise discretion, develop solutions to complex problems, and ensure that efficient and effective administration support is provided to the highest level, at all times.

The role includes dealing with and resolving a wide range of matters, which will often be confidential, sensitive or urgent, and exercising sound judgment about the most appropriate course of action. You will act as a key point of contact for the Directorate, liaising with all sections of the wider Professional Services team.
