The Role and Responsibilities of the Project Accountant position will include:
Play a key role in delivering the finance transformation project by improving finance processes
Assist the Head of Finance Shared Services in the implementation of project controls whilst working closely with the business to deliver the changes across areas such as ERP improvements, process improvements, process mapping, process documentation, change management and risk mitigation
Manage the plan to track project performance and manage / highlight any risks
Work closely with the project teams to ensure delivery
Work with individuals in the business to assist in project changes / requirements
Manage the stakeholder relationship and all project communications
Own and deliver the project reporting
Create & develop spreadsheets, diagrams, process documents and process maps
Assist in process development and implement improvements
Manage the project meetings
Map and ensure resource availability
Manage changes to scope
Log risks and Improvements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Be ideally CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified or QBE and overseas equivalent Have project experience within a finance environment Have an understanding of finance processes end to end Have a proven background within the improvement of processes and procedures Be available at short notice
