Job Description

Accounts & Audit Senior required. Our client is seeking a self-motivated Accounts & Audit senior to work within the team delivering a range of advisory, audit and accountancy services.

The ideal candidate would be able to split their focus across audit work and other professional service such as accountancy, system reviews, company secretarial work and some aspects of corporate tax.

A background working within an accountancy practice would be essential. You would ideally have an ACA or ACCA qualification with proven experience in a similar role. This role would suit an Accounts senior looking for that next step.

Accounts And Audit Senior Position Overview

• Preparation of annual accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
• Supervision and review of work by junior staff
• Preparation of client's quarterly management accounts
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Preparation of corporation tax and income tax computations
• Audit of large private companies
• Audit of solicitors under Solicitors Accounts Rules

Accounts And Audit Senior Position Remuneration

• Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (Flexible)
• 28 Days Holiday (including bank holidays)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Similar experience within an accountancy practice beneficial Excellent communication skills when dealing with clients Experience with Iris, Sage and the Microsoft Office package would be advantageous ACA or ACCA qualification would be ideal Previous auditing experience would be advantageous
