You will be responsible for providing secretarial and administrative service. You should be able to work as part of a team, be well organized, have good communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment, managing your own workload.
Previous NHS experience would be an advantage.

To provide a full secretarial service, which includes keyboard skills,
Manage, and organize own workload, prioritizing work as necessary, to operate effectively with the clinical staff in the management of their department to ensure the unit operates effective office systems/procedures.
To compose written communications of a non-routine nature demonstrating tact and understanding.
To receive information of which may be of a complex and sensitive nature, using knowledge and experience taking action where appropriate and to be aware of the implications of their own actions.
To deal with frequent enquiries including those of a sensitive and distressing nature, showing empathy and initiative and being aware of potential communication/cultural barriers based on acquired knowledge and experience, ensuring a high standard of communication.
To organize clinical space/meetings/venues/accommodation/catering as and when required.
To maintain, input into and produce reports from service-related data bases.
