Our Business Administration Apprenticeship programme provides you with the skills and personal development you need in an environment where you can thrive and achieve your potential to become a Business Administration expert, learning a wealth of skills from an experienced, established, friendly team.
You will learn with us
- Ordering of goods/materials – Support in the ordering of goods and materials through a purchase order system to ensure contracts run in a timely manner due to goods and services being delivered on time. Escalating shortages in supply when necessary
- Subcontractor payments – Working alongside the commercial teams to process Sub Contractor applications and payments via the COINS system
- Trade colleague timesheets – Collating Trade colleague timesheets and van logs to ensure payment is processed in a timely manner
- Compliance – Ensuring all documentation is kept up to date and stored in the appropriate manner in readiness for Audit
- Administration – Booking meeting rooms, organizing refreshments, filing, and note taking.
- Teamwork The role will give you the skills and abilities to not only be part of a team but to play an active role within a busy team.
Business Administration Apprenticeship – What’s in it for you
- Rates of pay higher than national minimum apprenticeship - £5.70 per hour minimum
- Working hours 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday) (inclusive of day release)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ideally, you will have a GCSE in Math and English (Grades A* to C/4 - 9), strong IT skills including Excel, however, more importantly, you will have a passion for learning, a desire to work in a financial role, a great work ethic and a real can-do approach to everything you do.
