Job Description

This is a part time weekend role working 8 hours on Sundays only between 08:30am – 17:30pm. There is potential for additional work available.

This role will involve animal handling, assisting vets and nurses in restraining animals for treatment, cleaning, walking and feeding patients, general cleaning and maintenance duties, greeting clients and providing the highest standards of animal and customer care. You will also conduct significant receptionist duties including;

• Answering the telephone, booking appointments and processing prescription requests
• Dealing with clients at the reception desk, taking payments and dealing with enquiries
• Accurately recording client and animal information on our IT system, so good IT skills would be preferable

We are looking for someone who really cares about animals. Our ideal candidate will have had some experience with animals before, have excellent interpersonal skills and be a real team player.
