As the Business Development Manager, you will cover the full business development life-cycle, proactively finding and developing leads, running the sales process and managing accounts post-sale. You will play a pivotal role initiating relationships, growing the business whilst retaining current accounts and meeting revenue targets.

Due to the highly scientific arena in which the software package is sold, a background in Chemistry, Biology or similar life-science is essential in order to enable you to engage with highly technical scientists as well as the commercial leaders of customers.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To be considered for the Business Development Manager, you will need the following:

• Degree in Biological Sciences/Chemistry or life-science discipline
• Proven experience in a related business development or sales role, preferably focussing on the EU markets.
• Worked with customers (both technical and commercial) in assessing, qualifying and validating key components within end-products for large scale commercialisation.
