Job Description
This critical role will be central to the upkeep of product data across the business and will be essential to the performance for other key areas from warehousing to sales to online.
This is an exciting opportunity and can lead to further development within the Commercial team.
- Manage Product Information Management (PIM) system to ensure accurate data is held on product range and ensure compliance with current regulation
- Work closely with the Buying team, E-commerce and third party brand owners to ensure all product data is up to date with the latest product information
- Ensure that all new products listed within the business have the required product information prior to “going live” within our ERP system
- Be responsible for the addition of new products to the central database and liaise with the Buying team and depot stock controllers when new products are listed.
- Respond promptly to requests for product amendments and communicate to all relevant parties
- Liaise with the eCommerce team to ensure product data is available for publishing online
- Keep themselves up to date with the latest thinking and insight when it comes to product data management and suggest continual ways of improvement
