Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, well-organized and adaptable Receptionist to join our encouraging and welcoming team of dedicated military and civilian healthcare professionals and Administrative staff working.
This a part-time role for 30 hours per week.

The successful post holder will have a major impact in promoting a positive image of the Medical Centre to patients and other users, so must maintain an appropriate and professional standard of appearance, attitude and confidentiality. You will be working as a member of the team, helping to provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective service in accordance with our policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and monitoring the Practice appointments system.
  • Processing personal and telephone requests for appointments, visits and telephone consultations and ensuring callers are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional.
  • Processing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Taking messages and passing on information.
  • Filing and retrieving paperwork.
  • Computer data entry/data allocation and collation; processing and recording information in accordance with Practice procedures.
