If you've completed your training contract fairly recently and would like to use that experience to break into the diverse, interesting and rewarding (not to mention safe) internal audit industry, then this opportunity could be for you.

Joining an established team of internal audit professionals, many of whom will have also begun their careers in external audit, this IA role will give you the opportunity to work on operational, regulatory and some technical audits of a business which incorporates a number of different sectors. Your client experience can therefore be as varied as the role, as long as you have the aptitude and people skills to deliver high quality audit work and the inquisitiveness to seek out risks and control weaknesses.

The role is currently partly home-based but under more normal circumstances, you will work from Canary Wharf and have the opportunity to travel a bit within the EMEA region to some of the other regional office locations.

The firm has a US listing and so some experience of Sarbanes Oxley work will be an advantage. The vacancy has been created by an internal move and its hoped that internal audit will provide talent for promotion into other roles in the business if an onward career within the audit hierarchy is not the end goal of the successful candidate.
