Job Description

This full-time Monday to Friday role supports the smooth running of training courses and the administration of the office function in a busy company. You’ll have the chance to get involved in every aspect of organising training courses (apart from actually delivering them!) – that’s right from dealing with initial enquiries to raising invoices to arranging accommodation to following up on post-course feedback.

It’s not a standalone role either – there’s a wonderful Office Manager who has been performing this role and more. She will be welcoming you with open arms and you’ll be working together as a team.

There’s some opportunity to do some working from home but due to the nature of the role, most of it will be office-based.

You’ll be getting involved in things like:

  • Managing the end-to-end booking process for scheduled courses (generating quotes, booking forms, securing purchase orders, raising invoices, sending pre-course work and joining instructions, generating and posting certificates)
  • Making necessary arrangements and bookings with venue providers
  • Arranging accommodation, transport etc. for trainers delivering courses as well as making restaurant and taxi bookings
  • Preparing the classroom for each training course (folders, paperwork, gifts etc.)
  • Capturing course update suggestions from trainers (in a web-based action management tool)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer service skills second to none?
  • An excellent communicator?
  • Previous experience of using Word and Excel and ideally Salesforce or a similar CRM system?
  • Accurate and super organised?
