Applicants will ideally come from publishing but they will also consider applicants with a background in selling specialist products B2B to senior marketers. The role can be predominantly home based, with 1 day a week spent in the Cambridge office.
On a day-to-day basis the Senior Media Sales Manager will be selling a wide range of services internationally to both existing and new customers across a variety of specialist industry sectors around the world. Developing and growing a new customer base is very important as they wish to grow the division and publications, however this role does come with a very established and loyal existing customer base which will make up a large majority of the revenue, as such it is equally important to keep the current accounts happy, growing and developing them where possible. It's important that applicants are experienced and happy working in a small business culture with full accountability, due to this candidates' that only have experience working at larger organisations may not be suitable.
