Job Description

Working across several departments, take responsibility for the preparation and delivery of several key Tesco statutory accounts and associated board papers, including the primary UK trading entity.
Subject matter expert on pensions accounting; responsible for the internal and external reporting for the Groups multi-billion pound closed Defined Benefit pensions schemes.
Responsible for liaison with the actuaries, auditors and pensions teams and providing key insights to senior stakeholders and investor relations.
Progressing, with the assistance of external liquidators, the ongoing simplification of the Tesco corporate structure.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Professional Finance Qualification, with technical experience desirable. Strong communication skills with ability to demonstrate credibility with stakeholders at all levels Ability to manage own time effectively and flexibly with changing priorities Able to build strong working relationships and influence others, both internally and externally Ability to review, summarise and critique data and undertake own research to facilitate understanding.
