Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Packaging Manager, managing the packaging and consumables team providing for development and upskilling. Accountable for building a clear strategy which drive the strategic priorities whilst continuously improving ways of working delivering packaging and consumable options for our customers. Accountable for working with the commercial and technical teams understanding the retail customer requirements to identify new product development and packaging solutions and cost impact development solutions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Strong Packaging Procurement and supplier relation experience
* Negotiation and persuasion skills
* A pragmatic approach that puts the customer at the heart of everything
* NPD/innovation experience
* Commercially astute and highly analytical
* Can work effectively in a team or confidently alone
* The ability to work in an extremely fast paced and dynamic growth business
