Job Description

The job involves supporting the Operations Manager with the delivery of administration services across the federation, working within recognized procedures delivering administrative duties such as the maintenance of manual and computerized records/ management systems, attendance calls, financial administration including recording school meals and raising purchase orders, providing busy reception cover and dealing with face to face enquiries from a range of stakeholders including parents, staff and students.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • NVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent qualification or experience
  • GCSE Mathematics and English – Grade C and above or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of general computer packages and office equipment e.g. Microsoft Office, photocopier, telephones etc.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to exchange information confidentially with a range of audiences (e.g. staff, students, parents and others)
  • Experience of manual and computerized record/information systems
  • Previous experience of working in a school, whilst is not essential would be advantageous.
