They’re on the lookout for an Accounts Assistant but they will only consider a candidate that will quickly outgrow the role. They’re looking for somebody with a decent understanding of end-to-end accounting (assisting with management accounts, processing invoices, statutory accounting, assisting the senior finance team etc.), and they’d like a candidate with at least 12-18 months experience in a similar role. They will also very happily consider a candidate wanting to leave practice and join a commercial business, particularly if they’ve already commenced studies (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). But it’s not just technical ability that they’re focussed on.
