You’ll be joining a forward-thinking company with one of the friendliest teams around and a business really does put its staff first.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be part of a small management accounting team responsible for a range of duties including:

• Monthly management accounting tasks including pre-payments and accruals, fixed assets, aged debtor month end journals and adjustments.
• Variance analysis of the management accounts producing accurate and timely management reports.
• Invoice financing reconciliations.
• Monitoring expenditure against budgets, identifying and reporting significant variances.
• Assisting with VAT returns

Ad hoc tasks including: financial analysis to enable better understanding of the company’s financial performance and stock taking activities

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional with current management accounting experience who is keen to be part of a commercial organisation.

A Self-starter with a proactive approach and great attention to detail, you’ll also be a confident communicator able to liaise with colleagues across the business and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.

You will need to be comfortable working with large volumes of data in Excel including extraction and analysis of financial data, so experience of using formulas, look ups and pivot tables is essential.

We are keen to hear from part qualified accountants (ACCA / CIMA), or AAT Technicians / qualified by experience accountants with the necessary experience.
