Job Description

My client is a small but successful practice based in Honiton with a loyal client portfolio. They now have a vacancy for an experienced and credible accountant with strong recent practice experience to join their friendly team.

This is a fairly autonomous role where you will work on a variety of practice tasks to include statutory accounts preparation, personal and corporate tax compliance, bookkeeping and VAT preparation, and client payroll. Working with a varied portfolio of clients you will also deal with client queries, offer tax and business advice, and train and support your clients with their accounting software.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Extensive experience within an accountancy practice setting is essential, but apart from this my client is quite flexible to consider applications from ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified applicants, active studiers, or candidates who have chosen not to undergo formal qualifications.
