* Be the first point of advisory contact and HR support for Employees
* Coordination of the recruitment process of temporary and permanent staff, encompassing the whole process from job design, recruitment, selection, job offer and induction. Ensure appropriate control of headcount and report this to the HR Director
* Produce a weekly report to ensure line managers are carrying out Return to Work interviews promptly and follow up with any appropriate action needed
* Implement with the Group HR Director disciplinary, grievance and dismissal procedures.
* Coach and assist Line Managers in dealing with difficult issues and the resolution of minor problems and grievances before they escalate.
* In conjunction with the Group HR Director and Group HR Administrator, co-ordination of the appraisal and review processes, including the collection of training requirements for the business, identification of training solutions and providers and cost negotiations where appropriate.
* Maintenance of central personnel records, HR database and sensitive data and ensure all administration processes are followed, as required, including ensuring that all information and photographs are kept up to date.
* Administration of all starters and leavers details, including Letters of Appointment, Contracts, Pre- Employment Medical Questionnaires, References, Leavers Letters and Exit Questionnaires and liaison with Payroll, Finance and IT.
* Experience in computerised stock control and purchase/sales orders processing systems is desirable together with an analytical and inquisitive mind.
* Relevant experience in a manufacturing industry
