Job Description

This hire will be integral to building and developing the finance team as the business scales. Additionally, as the business is embarking on a high growth journey through acquisitions, experience of this is also desirable.

• As the Group Finance Director, you’ll contribute to the finance team management of 15+, and this responsibility will be particularly important as the business grows.

• Scale the FP&A function to provide best in class private equity reporting and insights alongside responsibility of hiring a Director of FP&A.

• Further develop a strong and stable finance team, making improvements and ensuring the function is operating to the highest possible standard.

• As the business has grown, the audit process has become more complex, therefore you will oversee and support this process.

• Develop and maintain all necessary policies and procedures to ensure sound financial management.

• Partner with the business to deliver timely and insightful analysis to support strategic decision making, working closely with the CFO on the ongoing strategy of the business.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong experience as a technically focussed Financial Controller in a business of scale, and experience managing teams within a private equity backed businesses is highly desirable.

• An experienced FD/HoF/GFC

• ACA Qualified or equivalent (likely Big 4 trained), with strong academics.

• Experience building a best-in-class finance function in a growing business, with demonstrable leadership skills and experience managing a team of 10+ FTEs.

• Previously worked in a business of scale, with a track record of developing and improving systems and processes.

• Ambitious, dedicated and hardworking, with a strong track record of progression and success. Candidates will be analytical thinkers with excellent commercial acumen and strong interpersonal skills.
