Job Description
- Preparing and submitting complex VAT returns and partial exemption calculations, including reviewing client return calculations.
- Collecting and submitting all VAT documentation necessary in connection with a client’s international trade activities.
- Assisting the Audit team and giving out technical advice as required.
- Managing the successful completion of the VAT application process from start to finish.
- Helping to develop the VAT service line across the firm, through supporting the existing client base as well as attracting new business.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- You must either be a fully qualified AAT or ATT Accountant or instead possess a VAT qualification, such as the VAT Compliance Diploma.
- You must have some prior experience across the disciplines of VAT/Indirect tax.
- You should be highly organised and able to work to strict deadlines.
- Your verbal and written communication skills will be excellent.
- You will work well in a team and establish rapport with others easily.
