Job Description
  • Generating invoices and bookkeeping records for rental demands for multiple tenants based upon static data stored within the fund accounting package. 
  • Processing of invoices and allocating payments, trades and bank transactions into fund accounting system and bank payments system in accordance with business policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining and reconciling the static data for various clients.  
  • Preparing client reports to support invoices raised, pending and paid.
  • Preparing client bank account payment runs. 
  • Completing client bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting the Senior Fund Accountant with the preparation of accompanying schedules for management accounts, as applicable.
  • Assisting with daily administration for a portfolio of clients and ensure all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assisting with client auditor queries and liaising with auditors as required.
  • Assisting with the effective implementation of on-boarding new clients and fund changes.
  • Assisting with other ad hoc administrative tasks as required by the business from time to time. 
  • The successful candidate would not be expected to be involved in the credit control of the rental collection.

Essential:
 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively (written & oral) at all levels
  • Demonstrably methodical and highly organised with a proven ability to meet deadlines 
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) 
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated
  • Seeks innovation and looks for continuous improvement. Copes with change
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Capable of managing multiple concurrent tasks in a demanding business environment
  • Able to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including senior management
  • Able to use own initiative and the ability to work through issues with minimal supervision 



Desirable:
 

  • Previous experience in dealing with property leases, rental invoicing
  • AAT with 2- 4 years relevant experience
  • Experience of sales and or purchase ledgers, ideally within the real estate sector would be beneficial
  • Previous experience of Yardi Voyager
