Job Description

The main duties (but not limited to) are the following: -

• Provision of VAT advice to clients, colleagues and partners across the firm.
• Assisting clients with HMRC VAT queries
• Dealing with queries from other parties as part to the VAT consultancy service
• Business development which may include attending various net-working events
• Assisting the VAT Partner with the running of the team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ideally the successful candidate will have the following attributes, skills, experience and

qualifications.

• Previous experience working in a VAT advisory role either from working in practice or an in-house position
• Outgoing, socially confident and emotionally controlled
• A positive attitude, friendly and approachable
• Accountancy or Tax Qualified (AAT, ACA, ACCA, ATT CTA) is desirable but not essential
• Good working knowledge of IT
