As the Management Accountant, your duties will be:
To oversee and assist where required the Accounts Assistant in the day to day posting of Cash Book, Purchase Ledger and Sales Receipts on Accounting Systems.
Reconciliation of costing information.
Prepare accurate and timely financial information including detailed quarterly accounts.
Monitor monthly reports including comparison against budget & prior months.
Manage, control and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Ensure that creditor payments have been processed regularly and that invoices have been signed off.
The preparation and timely submission of all corporate tax returns including VAT & corporate tax.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Have solid experience of all accounting functions, AAT Level 3 qualified as a minimum. Experience of analysing information, dealing with complex issues, data entry, accounting & attention to detail. High level of analytical and numerical skills with good communication skills at all levels. Strong IT skills including Excel spreadsheets/pivot tables and all Microsoft Office functions. Ability to collate various management reports.
