Here is a great opportunity for an Apprentice to work with us as a Junior Office Administrator on an Intermediate Business & Administration Apprenticeship.
This is an escape from the hideous world of tedious routine – this is a real chance to learn new skills and work as part of genuine team.
YOUR OPPORTUNITY: APPRENTICE / JUNIOR OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Working closely with the existing team, you will support our client base by performing administrative tasks such as running Vacancy Reports, credit checking, monitoring our image library, administering DBS checks and getting involved in the launch of the fledgling recruitment businesses we support.
Alongside this, you will support the existing team here by taking responsibility for the smooth running of the office – stationery and supply ordering, maintaining our meeting room facilities, managing the diary and meeting/greeting visitors, taking incoming telephone enquiries and so on.
Finally, you will be take on a key role in identifying budding recruitment entreprenuers by developing a database of top-quality Recruiters based in the UK, utilising resources like the Job boards, LinkedIn & the like. You will work closely with the New Business Development team to generate leads and progress into the procurement aspects of SSG (if you want!)
You will have all of the fun of working closely with our clients whilst studying anIntermediate Business & Administration Apprenticeship with West Herts College.
At the same time, you will be supported by a great team of people at SSG who are lovely, friendly and brilliant at their jobs (I know, because they told me).
How exciting is that?!
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED?
Obviously you need to be keen to learn with a genuine enthusiasm for the world of business.
Obviously, you will also need to be willing to study towards your qualification with West Herts College.
Obviously, you have to be professional, friendly, of smart appearance, dedicated & caring – obviously.....
On top of all of that obvious stuff, you have to be the type of person to thrive on getting things just right, being in complete control of a process, focussed on the perfect administration of a basically human task.
This is not easy – combining efficiency with real care in a genuinely empathetic way.
So, yep the best way to describe the job is Admin Apprentice with Personality!
