Job Description

Key responsibilities to include:

- Supervise a team of three people management focussed staff

- Design, deliver and develop robust HR policy and learning and development programs to facilitate continued growth in headcount

- Implement key L&D programs ensuring high quality staff training and development, and promoting internal development

- Work closely with business directors and senior management teams to understand the needs of the business and ensure that people management policy adapts as required

- Pioneer employee attraction projects across multiple vocations

- Manage and develop remuneration and rewards schemes

- Ensure compliance with UK employment law and H&S

- Work closely with an experienced payroll team to ensure accurate weekly and monthly employee payment runs

- Promote a positive and supported working culture that promotes long term careers with the business


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The role requires an HR Manager with at least three years of recently gained experience in a similar role and with some/all exposure gained within a busy manufacturing environment. Applicants should be qualified to CIPD Level 5/7 or equivalent and possess good generalist human resources knowledge, ideally with some experience gained in learning and development. Good general IT experience as well as experience using modern HR software essential.
