Job Description
- To support the Commissioning Manager and work with operational colleagues in developing and delivering commissioning strategies, achieving change and improving service quality and impact
- To ensure the achievement of best value in delivery of services and improved outcomes for service users through effective commissioning arrangements
- To monitor and review commissioning arrangements to ensure that the quality and quantity of services negotiated with service providers comply with contractual requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience of directing and co-ordinating project groups and task-oriented teams
- Experience of commissioning and procurement of social care services
- Experience of leading strategic commissioning and/or change programmes
- Driving license and access to a vehicle
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
