Job Description
* Produce monthly management accounts and preparing variance analysis for reporting to the Directors.
* Prepare detailed weekly cashflow forecasts.
* Reviewing operational budgets and forecasts.
* Preparing year end accounts and all relevant schedules, in line with current statutory rules, for submissions to external firm of accountants.
* Verification of subcontractors for construction industry scheme (CIS).
* Processing of invoices ensuring correct authorisation and coding, both supplier and subcontractor.
* Reviewing purchase ledger and general ledger at month end.
* Filing VAT and CIS transactions.
* Issue of payment certificates to subcontractors.
* Management of supplier and subcontractor payment runs and managing urgent payments.
* Posting of bank transactions and allocation of supplier payments.
* Payroll.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Has previous experience of working in a similar role, with a proven track record of producing management accounts.
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified, or AAT qualified with relevant experience/background.
* Construction experience beneficial.
* Excellent Excel and general IT skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
