Job Description
  • Complete / Submit Authority documents to access Pensions information
  • Request Pensions Growth information
  • Complete pension growth tax charge calculations
  • Review earnings of clients to pre warn the team of future situations
  • Review Clients Working history with the pensions agency and be able to advise on PCSE processes.
  • Enquire by phone and email to the pensions agency for anomalies
  • Complete “scheme pays” forms to cover the cost of tax charges on growth
  • Follow up to ensure documents have been processed and accepted
  • Liaise with staff for tax return amendments regarding tax calculations
  • Completion and Submission of NHS pension forms annually for clients
  • Completion of Pensions Opt out and Retirement Application Forms
  • Provide administrative support and advice to the Healthcare team on the above as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience in a NHS Pensions related role.
  • Knowledge of how to use Microsoft excel to monitor the above work
  • Database management knowledge useful but not essential
  • Ability to show initiative and work within a team.
  • Good telephone and email skills
  • Ability to build good client relationships
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload in a timely manner
