Job Description
  • Overseeing the site administration function.
  • Updating driver duty timesheet to ensure all information is correct in respect of days worked and return of Tachograph and digital downloads.
  • Customer queries - ensuring any queries in relation to POD’s, over charging, short or non deliveries or incorrect delivery date are dealt with.
  • Collating all supporting information to either substantiate or refute the claim.
  • Control of Agency hours - reporting on hours worked and costs in a daily report to the site management team and sending weekly to relevant agencies.
  • Fuel receipts - Coordinating all receipts returned, ensuring they are sent on to Spalding in a timely manner
  • Providing support to HR team, taking notes at disciplinary and appeal hearings ensuring accuracy of information circulating notes in a timely manner
  • Control of office stationery - order stationery supplies and issue accordingly. Keep records of stationery stock.
  • General office support in terms of answering of phones and supporting the transport operation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous administration experience
  • Busy office environment background
  • Experience of working within a logistics industry is highly desirable
  • Working within a 24/7 operation is advantageous
  • Customer service experience
  • Great Microsoft Office skills
  • Adaptable and flexible in approach to work
