Job Description

The role involves working as admin team in the social work office answering a variety of telephone calls and queries from professionals and members of the public, inputting and processing referrals in to client based systems and liaising with community district nursing to facilitate seamless clinical support to patients discharged home who will require ongoing treatment.

You will possess good IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel applications. You will also assist with the monitoring of the central admin inbox.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • ECDL or equivalent
  • Good knowledge and experience of PC based applications
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with enquiries in person and by telephone
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • To deal effectively with people at all levels from a broad range of organizations
  • The ability to accurately retrieve, process, record and store data and information using both electronic and manual systems
  • The ability to contribute to the development of positive and supportive team working by working flexibly as a team member and offering support to colleagues
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines, prioritizing and organizing your workload where appropriate
  • The ability to cope with varying demands, demonstrating resilience under pressure and coping with change
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and understanding the need for applying data protection principles
  • Minimum 2 years office experience
  • NVQ Level 2 Business Administration
