Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for someone seeking to develop their career within a world leading insurance brand. You will be working with the wider Business Units to assist them in maintaining and improving the customer digital journey, data management, analytical capability and performance reporting, whilst finding opportunities to improve performance and efficiency of the digital analytics infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Implement and monitor the tag management solution for company with hands on as well as providing technical assistance to the wider team.
  • Monitor, interpret and report performance KPIs across all transactional touch points of the multichannel sales funnel in order to measure and identify opportunities to improve customer experience.
  • Working closely with the wider Analytics team and internal customers establish visual and engaging performance dashboards in order to share knowledge and aid data driven decision making.
  • Act as an expert source of digital performance reporting by ensuring data integrity and proactively identify data and reporting issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure efficiencies and consistency of data.
  • Be the Lead Centre of Excellence to develop and optimize multi-attribution marketing effectiveness tracking models in order to measure the performance of activity and therefore shape future activity.
  • Act as an expert source of digital performance reporting by ensuring data integrity and proactively identify data and reporting issues and improvement opportunities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience within digital data analytics and/or performance optimization functions.
  • Degree educated in a highly mathematical subject (Math, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, Data Science or similar), 2.1 above or equivalent qualification.
  • Thorough understanding, experience and expertise in digital and web journey data management, visualization and usage within a commercial environment.
  • Advanced skills and experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics skills or similar tag management/analytics tools.
  • Strong skillset utilizing the following programs: Excel, SQL / BigQuery, JavaScript, Power BI & Data Studio.
  • Evidence of developing innovative performance models from multiple data sources into single, easily understood performance dashboards to improve performance management across the multichannel customer journey. Able to translate data insights into easily digestible business and digital opportunities and metrics.
  • Track record of digital performance and ROI improvements driven from data management and reporting. Experience of implementing on site analytics advancements.
  • Clear understanding of the regulatory environment in which the business operates including DPA and UK privacy law application in data management.
  • Good understanding of marketing and digital principles and channels.
  • Highly commercially aware with understanding of business planning and financial processes. High level of customer focus and understanding of customer buying behavior.
  • Self-motivated, you'll have a can-do attitude and problem solving capability, able to develop practical solutions with the big picture in mind.
  • Excellent relationship skills, able to engage with and communicate to colleagues at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
