Job Description

You will typically carry out duties including the following:

  • Supporting the team to put together meeting packs, briefing papers, reports and issue them to agreed timelines;
  • Arranging and organizing appointments, meetings, events and conferences, booking suitable venues, organizing resources, and booking any associated travel/accommodation requirements;
  • Attend team meetings to take notes and actions and ensure that any agreed actions are followed up;
  • To help to maintain effective electronic and manual filing systems;
  • To prepare accurate travel and expense claims for the team in line with policies;
  • To help the team to anticipate requirements, planning ahead to ensure that information is available, and meetings and work time planned in, to meet required deadlines;
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members, senior managers, line managers and colleagues across the business and with key stakeholders externally;
  • Developing skills in dealing with all matters in an efficient, sensitive and reliable manner.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Good written and spoken communication skills;
  • You will be reliable, a good timekeeper and be of smart appearance as this is an office-based role;
  • Due to the nature of this role, we are ideally looking for applications from candidates with Grades C/4 or above in Math & English at GCSE level or equivalent;
  • An interest and enthusiasm to work in the Financial Services industry;
  • Able to commute to Cheadle on a daily basis;
  • The drive and passion to succeed in an ambitious business;
