Job Description

Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5:00. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business, with great progression options.

Your role is to provide support throughout the Post Room.

  • Process incoming post:
  • Opening, tracking, and preparing of items to be scanned including the removal of all fastenings and DPA check.
  • All items containing photos or original documents to be clearly marked for retention in line with current retention policy or returned to sender once a copy is obtained.
  • Any items not suitable for the scanners to be photocopied then scanned with original documents being returned to sender.
  • To scan all hard copies received into the business creating an electronic copy.
  • Ensure that all hardcopies are securely destroyed in line with current Document Retention Policy.
  • Indexing of all scanned items to be made available on the Document Handler for processing teams.
  • Processing of all incoming memory devices.
  • Signing in any relevant documents.
  • To assist with the Post Run preparation.
  • Assist with Bulk printing.
  • Preparing for the outgoing post.
  • Operating the folding machine for the outgoing post
  • Provide Reception cover as required.
  • Email sorting.
  • Complete internal data systems.
  • Any other duties as allocated by Management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Good general admin knowledge is preferred but full training given.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Computer literate.
