Job Description
This is an exciting time to be working as Search Administrator for the Metropolitan Police Service. In addition to large-scale transformation, there's the unique and ever-evolving challenge of policing London. This means that as a Search Administrator, there are more opportunities for you to get involved with making London the safest global city in a time of unprecedented change within the UK's largest Police Service.
- Operating machinery to envelope and frank all outgoing post in accordance with our Business mail agreement and time sensitive post is sent within the set timescale.
- List accurately all Special / Recorded deliveries (up to 500) per day
- Deal with all cheques, Postal Orders or cash & driving licenses and list within audit procedures.
- Deal with letters returned to insurance companies per month with no reference, payment, no information to trace incident
- Search for references for Civil Action Reports and ensure that correct payments are being obtained from partnership agencies.
- Scan in the Notice of Intended Prosecution and correspondence to the correct department daily.
- Any other administrative task as directed.
