Job Description
  • Under the leadership of the Associate Buyer or Assistant Buyer, deliver the day-to-day administration, operating within all relevant process, legal, and compliance parameters.
  • Ensure the accurate administration of the purchase order process. As instructed, provide data to cross
  • functional partners and vendors, operating within all legal and compliance parameters
  • Support range plan curation and maintenance as needed
  • Prepare and maintain photo books as needed, aligning with product flow calendar and quarterly showcase deliverables
  • Communicate with key partners and teams on global assortment range plans, including shifts, and provide consistent timely updates including off cycle cadence
  • Provide support for key milestone meetings through delivery of presentation decks, business recaps, hindsight reports and coordinating data points from key partners
  • Track item set up, defining items masters and raise purchase orders in alignment with buying and planning timelines for relevant channels. Responsible for revisions to enable accurate order book
  • Provide weekly on-line checks and maintain corrective action plan for accuracy of information at regional market level. Monitor reviews and report out for consumer centric strategy
  • Track delivery of all category in partnership with sourcing, production and escalate shipment issues in a timely manner. Identify sales risks and flag where appropriate
  • Responsible for managing range plan assortment and ensuring accuracy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the global partners and key stakeholders through regular communication, providing reports where appropriate

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Degree-level education in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in an admin role within a buying function of an Omni-channel retailer, desirable
  • Retail store experience, beneficial.
  • Strong planning and organization skills and ability to priorities workload
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Numerate
  • Strong written and spoken English for business use, essential.
  • Computer literate including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and merchandise systems and processes, essential
  • Resilient and nimble in an ever changing landscape.
