Job Description

The post holder will be responsible for all day-to-day administration tasks. They will need to take initiative in prioritizing their workload and helping with the team’s workload. They will need to ensure that the service objectives and deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide complete administrative support to the Management Team and Business Transformation recruitment and retention lead. This includes word processing, filing, emails, photocopying, entering data onto the computer and creation of spreadsheets
  • Maintain a diary of appointments/information for Managers and Directors manually / electronically
  • Have sufficient knowledge of patient and professionals requirements to ensure the efficient running of the service
  • Establish and maintain a well-organized and effective administrative service able to meet the needs of the service users and staff
  • Monitor demand against capacity and escalate to clinical staff where issues arise against agreed protocols.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will be required to provide high quality, comprehensive administrative support to the team using your excellent communication, organizational and IT skills. You should be able to work independently, using discretion, judgment and critical analysis where appropriate.
The successful applicant will be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programmes, but training is available for those who need up skilling. Previous experience with electronic patient record systems, for example, System One would be advantageous.
