Job Description

• Carry out technical work in accordance with our procedures, when training record reflects competency
• Unpack, review and label client samples
• Assisting with the scheduling and subcontracting of samples
• Weighing of soil to dry for testing
• Sample disposal
• Compile client consumable requests
• Ensure all work completed is according to our requirements.
• Calibration of all laboratory equipment at the required frequency
• Work within the confines of company’s safety policy paying due regard to the requirements for PPE at all times.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the laboratory.
• To recommend changes in all procedures or working practices where there are either errors or where habitual problems occur.
