Job Description

We are looking to recruit a HR Administrator, to assist in the provision of a professional, comprehensive and effective HR department. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career and is looking for progression.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • End to end administrative support to the HR team across both London and Sheffield Sites. This includes processing new starters, change of details, leavers on to the HR database.
  • Ensure that all new starter documentation is returned and recorded on to the HR database.
  • Ensure that references are obtained for all new starters in-line with the Company’s screening requirements
  • Conduct exit interviews with all appropriate leavers and save documentation on to the HR database
  • Provide general advice to employees and line mangers on payroll and administrative issues connected with absence, holidays, maternity / paternity and general HR policies and procedures
  • Respond to incoming requests for information i.e. references, landlord / mortgage enquires and government agencies within a timely manner in line with departmental SLA’s
  • Provide efficient, effective and accurate support to the payroll process by ensuring accurate administration and achievement of deadlines through thorough accuracy and diligence checks
  • Supporting the HR department in conducting investigations particularly in relation to Sickness and Timekeeping concerns
  • Producing disciplinary outcome letters
  • Provide timely and accurate reports and information to the Company’s benefit providers ensure that all starters, leavers and grade changes are captured
  • Provide administrative and generalist support to the HR team as requested
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties or projects as directed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office in particular Excel to intermediate level as a minimum
  • Ideally you will have experience of working with HR software
  • Experience of working within HR
  • An understanding of communicating HR policies and procedures to the wider business including Managers and Key Stakeholders and varying levels of seniority
  • Educated to degree standard or equivalent.
