Job Description

The Learning and Organizational Development Team (Learning and OD) is responsible for developing and delivering OD and learning interventions to shape our organizational culture and support delivery of the House of Lords Strategy for the Administration. The team currently consists of three people and sits within the wider Human Resources Office.

You’ll work as an employee, alongside experienced members of staff, whilst learning through regular assessments in your workplace.

The key objective of the role is to assist in the co-ordination of a professional and efficient administration service, providing general support to the Learning and OD Team.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:

  • Interest in Learning and Development: Keen interest in Learning and Development/Organizational Development
  • Working to tight deadlines: Ability to create realistic plans to achieve own deadlines and objectives, managing and prioritizing workload
  • Team working: Able to work well within a team, whiles collaborating, supporting and respecting others and developing good working relationships
  • Communication skills: Good interpersonal and communications skills, including verbal and written
