Job Description

Our client is a member organisation dedicated to improving outcomes for children and young people in care by supporting the agencies and professionals who work with them, primarily in the UK but also internationally. Our client is accountable to its own Board of Directors, and operates independently to support and represent our members, champion best practice, and provide high quality and authoritative information through our services, publications and training events.

Our client helps children to feel safe, loved and protected from harm. They help children to lead healthier lives. They support children’s education and learning. They build the skills children need to succeed now, and in the future. They protect the legal rights of children when these are in danger of being ignored and strengthen families to help children thrive.

Our clients team consists of consultants who specialise in family placement from an interdisciplinary perspective including social work, legal, health, research and minority ethnic issues. It also includes the co-ordination and delivery of an information service.

They are now seeking an assistant to provide administrative support to our team. You will co-ordinate and make arrangements for Advisory Committees, Special Interest Groups, projects and meetings, taking minutes as required. It is essential that you have experience of working in a busy office environment in an administrative role, and possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
