Job Description

This is a customer facing role and will be the first point of contact for clients both in person and telephone and will require a high level of professionalism.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing a helpful and efficient reception desk
  • Meeting and greeting clients / visitors.
  • Set up of conference calls and video conferencing using all available remote meeting platforms (MS Teams / Zoom etc.)
  • To sign for and distribute briefs to Clerks
  • Organization of daily conference facilities & supplies
  • Planning of daily conferences rooms through system
  • Organizing any conference catering / refreshments requirements and the housekeeper's daily duties
  • Liaison with maintenance & cleaning companies / callouts
  • Ad-hoc clerical duties

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Switchboard/Reception experience essential, within a professional services environment. Legal experienced preferred.
  • Proficient IT knowledge including use of Microsoft Outlook & Word.
  • GCSE English and Math (Grade C minimum or equivalent)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels and to create and maintain good working relationships.
  • Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Capacity to thrive in a small team environment and is a team player who get on well with colleagues.
