Job Description
We're looking for a Counterparty Onboarding Administrator to join our team. You'll be supporting company’s trading and investment activities by ensuring all required brokers and custodians, across all relevant instruments, are set up ready to support the trading and investment activity of each fund/account, focusing predominantly on onboarding processes.
What you'll be doing?
- Setting up custodian and broker information on principal systems, and setting up relevant security and cash accounts at multiple custodians.
- Coordinating the completion of relevant documentation with custodians to open custody accounts in emerging & frontier markets.
- Proactively supporting the documentation pipeline, ensuring all required brokers are available to trade for the relevant Fund/account by the deadline stated.
- Maintaining an accurate and current database of documentation.
- Participating in other aspects of the Onboarding process as required.
- Participate in the ongoing relationship with brokers and external counterparties, fostering a collaborative approach to improve service levels, and also building and maintaining a collaborative relationship with company's legal team.
- Maintaining Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs), and producing management information when required, ensuring the integrity of data within systems maintained by the team.
- Adhering to current procedures, controls and checklists whilst also continually proactively identifying improvements to the control and risk environment relating to the Counterparty Onboarding function; recommending and implementing procedural and process changes.
