Job Description

The Administrator is responsible for working as part of a busy and high-profile area and the purpose of the roll, in summary, is:

  • To ensure the teams in S&I run smoothly from an administrative and logistical perspective
  • To manage the S&I management team’s diaries as when required
  • To monitor several external inboxes
  • To act as secretariat for some internal committees – taking minutes and noting actions; managing agendas; distributing and filing papers and dealing with forward agendas
  • To support divisional communication (e.g., maintaining local intranet pages)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience of providing administrative support to a large team or Manager(s)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both writing and face-to-face
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Flexible and able to priorities when it comes to multiple work demands
  • A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude, and ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to work to very tight deadlines when under pressure
  • Able to absorb new information and business knowledge quickly and accurately
  • Able to operate with credibility as a team administrator and team representative
  • The role requires you to have access to sensitive and confidential information, therefore maintaining security, trust and confidentiality of information is of paramount importance in this role
  • Innovative thinker - challenging existing admin processes and seeking new solutions to business and team admin problems
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities as required
