Job Description

The position is to work in a small team and be responsible for day to day administration duties within the offices of a well-established food manufacturing company. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm. There is also free on-site parking.

The main duties of an Administrator are;

  • Processing daily sales orders
  • Producing order and delivery notes
  • Booking transport of goods dispatched on a daily basis
  • Producing transport labels, documentation and manifests
  • Arranging collections and managing any issues
  • Produce invoices from daily orders and ensuring all are sent to customers/clients
  • Be responsible for all office postage and packaging
  • Taking over the phone payments from customers
  • Deal with general inbound enquiries when required
  • Meet and greet visitors to the business and support with reception duties
  • Carrying out any other general office duties as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Have general administration experience within an office environment
  • Sage experience would be preferable but not essential as full training will be given
  • Excellent computer skills including a good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Be well organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Have strong communication skills
