Job Description
  • Data entry and retrieval
  • Reception Tasks, greeting patients and organizing appointments
  • As directed prepare departmental case notes for clinic
  • As directed, locate any missing patient records required for clinics ensuring that the case notes will be available for the patient’s attendance in clinic
  • Provide a telephone answering / booking service, relaying queries, and messages as necessary and liaising with other departments where appropriate
  • In line with departmental protocols and as a member of the team, maintain the confidentiality, safety and security of the reception area reporting any adverse matters to senior staff and or the security office

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Recent experience of reception duties / customer relations
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Be able to use Microsoft Office package
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a new working environment
  • Knowledge of hospital environment / routines
