Job Description

The position will involve working on reception (front desk), back office function including processing repeat prescriptions, scanning, summarizing, filing medical records etc. The job will be varied, and time will be split between the roles.

Main Duties

  • To provide a high quality, professional reception and administrative service to patients, doctors, staff, colleagues, health service professionals and others.
  • To act as the first point of contact for patients contacting the practice and to portray the practice in the highest possible professional basis
  • To ensure that enquires from patients are efficiently and courteously handled.
  • Wage will be negotiable depending on experience

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful applicant will be working 30 hours per week. Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills and strong communication skills with an ability to pay attention to detail. Applicants must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, they will need to be able to adapt to the day to day demands of working in a busy general practice setting.
