Job Description

To carry out administrative and other support duties in the department.

  • General administration – stationery stock keeping, co-ordination of on-call service and helpline Rota
  • Finance administration – ordering equipment, obtaining supplier quotations, invoice processing
  • Service operations support – answering helpdesk phone calls, basic troubleshooting of problems, ensuring tickets responded to within SLAs
  • IS programme and service support – logging and tracking service desk requests, perform updates of pages of the intranet
  • Departmental safety coordinator
  • Other duties as directed by line manager or Head

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • GCSEs in English and Math or equivalent
  • Previous work experience as an administrator/ PA/ office assistant
  • IT literate and an experience of writing basic business documents
  • Good time management, attention to detail, and good written and verbal communication skills
