Main purpose of the role to ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any visitors to the practice. This includes answering the phone to deal with enquiries, explain procedures and arrange new and follow up appointments and requests for home visits, dealing with requests/enquiries/processing prescriptions, registering new patients. Experience of working in a GP practice is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
