Job Description

There is currently vacancies to join this well organized, multi-disciplinary service which will give anyone with an aptitude for working accurately and efficiently the opportunity to work closely with team members from a variety of disciplines. This role provides a great deal of job satisfaction whilst working as part of a supportive and dedicated team
The role is to provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support. The candidate must be willing to adapt to the changing needs of the service, acquiring new skills and knowledge when needed. You will undertake a large range of administrative tasks.
Duties will include, but are not limited to;

  • Reception Duties
  • Inputting Data
  • Assisting with enquiries through telephone/email/sms
  • Filing
  • Sending appointment and result letters
  • General administration of clinics
  • Handling confidential information
  • Use of various IT systems

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The candidate must be able to work within a multidisciplinary team and have the ability to work with a minimum of supervision in an accurate and competent manner. The candidate must work in accordance to the service’s demanding quality assurance standards.
The candidate may be the first point of contact for patients and therefore must demonstrate a pleasant and caring manner. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential. The successful applicant will require excellent IT skills, preferably having experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Previous experience of Hospital systems such as CRIS and PAS/Patient Centre is desirable but not essential. The successful applicant will be flexible and have excellent interpersonal, numeracy and literacy skills.
